DIY: Decorate with Nursery Rhyme Prints

I am selling these decorative Nursery prints at my ETSY shop, Perfectly pink boutique. They make great baby shower gifts!!!!

Recently I have been inspired by 19th century children's book illustrations. I found a Nursery Rhyme book at my local library with beautiful pictures inside done by Randolph Caldecott; who was a famous children's illlustrator in the late 19th century.

I scanned his prints into my computer and reprinted on cardstock. The Print above is 6x8. I hot glued the cardstock print to firm pink felt board. I then hot glued white eyelit trim around the print and felt board. Finally hot glued 3 inch wire ribbon  about 22 inches long to the top of the decorative print and finished it with a bow.

I hung the decoration on my daughter's dresser in her nursery. It also looks darling as a door hang. Or wall art. See below.

I like the simplicity of the black & white print. This one above is the smallest I made 4x5. I think it is adorable at this size. Any questions feel free to comment!
Enjoy! Missy B.
